Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are billed the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

API requests after reaching your limit return a 429 status code. You can upgrade your plan instantly from the dashboard to continue processing.
Do unused documents roll over?
No, unused documents do not roll over to the next month. Each billing cycle starts fresh.
