Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 22, 2026
1. Introduction
ParseFlow (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the document extraction API service at https://parseflow.dev. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and payment information (processed securely by Stripe).
2.2 Document Data
When you use our API, you upload documents for processing. We process documents in memory and do not permanently store your uploaded files. Extracted data (JSON results) may be temporarily cached for up to 90 days to enable retrieval via our API.
2.3 Usage Data
We collect API usage metrics including: number of documents processed, API request timestamps, file sizes, and processing times. This data is used for billing, rate limiting, and service improvement.
2.4 Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous website usage data. This includes page views, session duration, and device information. You can opt out via our cookie consent banner.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our document extraction service
- To process your payments and manage subscriptions
- To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- To communicate service updates and security alerts
- To improve our extraction accuracy and service performance
4. Data Retention
Uploaded documents are processed in memory and deleted immediately after extraction. Extraction results are cached for up to 90 days. Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. These are every vendor that processes it on our behalf, what each one is for, and where it happens. The list is generated from the code, so it cannot fall out of step with what the product actually does — the previous hand-written version named four of them and omitted three.
